Movie experience in cinema has evolved so much since I was a kid. I used to be very excited when my parents decided to bring my sisters and I to the cinema. During high school, that’s when the hot selling ‘couple seats’ came about. And now, they have family-friendly session in TGV Cinemas!
I’m sure new mummies out there struggle the first time they bring their children to the cinema. What if my child cries? What if he screams? Where’s the nearest toilet? Then, what if I miss out some part of the movie? ^ Trust me, worst feeling ever.
Recently I was invited to a Family Friendly Special Screening by TGV, for Despicable Me 3!!! Totally changed Jacob’s cinema experience. And let me tell you why!
The event started off with party, exciting games and activities for kids. Look at how the kids are enjoying themselves!
After the party, we proceeded to the movie!
When you walk into the cinema, you’ll see a huge space like this for stroller and a diaper changing station!
Taadaa! Diaper-changing station is provided for parents’ convenience. You definitely won’t miss out any scene of the movie.
Yes, the movie has started. The lights are not fully dimmed so parents can keep an eye on their kids, and the kids are free to walk around and run about. You know how excited kids are when they are watching their favourite movie. So in Family Friendly, you can let your kids cheer, laugh and play, so they can truly enjoy the cinematic experience. You can see many kids making friends in the cinema too!
It allows kids to express themselves freely. You can hear them talking, laughing uncontrollably at some funny scenes, without any judgement… To me it’s a totally different and enjoyable movie experience for the kids and the parents as well!
This family friendly session is exclusive to parents who wish to introduce the cinema world to their kids. It’s available at all TGV cinemas locations, nationwide!
