Family trip to Malacca

Hello my dear readers, how are you? 🙂

Most of you must be thinking, ‘oh Malacca, definitely food trip!‘ Even I thought so too! But now guess what? I actually brought Jacob and Sophie to the biggest indoor playground and yes it’s in Malacca! For families, we always thought there are limited activities there (or at least I did) but now, looks like Jacob and Sophie will be asking for more trips to Malacca haha.

To me, playing is very important for children, because they learn through playing all the time. They can develop their social skills, physical and cognitive skills through playing, so every child should have rights to play.

In this digital world, children love to spend time on digital games more than outdoor actual play. As an early-childhood educator, I believe in children using their hands and senses to explore the world. Therefore I’m always on the look for something new for Jacob and Sophie to explore.

Jumpers Land is the largest indoor playground in Malacca, drawing attention to its large scale capacity, spread over 17,000 sqft of excitement and fun! It is a safe and happy place not just for your children, but for your entire family.

The trampoline area is my favourite! Jacob and Sophie can literally play the whole day here. There is a basketball section within the trampoline area, and Jacob could do the slam dunk easily after a few tries!

Next to the trampoline they have a sponge pool for play!The centre of the playground is a huge colourful tree with net, extremely safe for children to climb around. However due to safety reason, they only allow children for climbing. Initially I thought it looks difficult to climb for them, with minimum confidence and encouragement Jacob managed to climb around without any fear and help. Proud of you Jacob!

Here’s the slightly more challenging area for older kidsThey have the longest slides for older kidsShorter slides for younger kidsAnd the 1 storey high slides!More play areaIf your child is younger age like Sophie, they have an area just for them younger toddlers! Ball pool, Sophie’s ultimate favourite playtime.To me, the last thing you need to worry is safety around the playground. The whole place is covered with floor mat, totally safe for children to run around and explore. All you hear are laughter and screaming from the children enjoying their playtime.For adults, if you’re hungry and tired, you can take a rest at the Doodle Bowl, they serve drinks and food too.If you’re not hungry, here’s the waiting area for familyHere’s the locker area to store your belongings at the side of the playground.
