Happy Children, Happy Home, Happy Parenthood

It is mid July already? Time flies so fast especially when you have two babies!!! Being a mother of two has not been easy I must say. Welcome to motherhood, Shaine. *Pats on the back* Haha.

Baby Sophie is now 3 months old! And she is a very independent baby. She rarely let out a loud cry. Usually she will just make some noise to catch your attention and also to let you know its time to feed. I find it super cute! At 2 months old she could recognise faces and even respond when you’re playing with her!

Hi Sophiebaby 🙂

She’s probably the first baby that doesn’t need to be carried all day everyday. She can just stay in her cot and play by herself, or listening to the music played from her mobile station. Super easy or what? 😀 Plus, dressing her is like my happiest chore in a day. (Same goes to kor kor Jacob!) I’ve actually gotten a lot of questions from new friends (mostly) that do I style my kids everyday or just for events only? My answer has always been, yes, everyday, without fail. Haha. It makes them happy and feeling good, can boost their confidence too! If you think they’re too young to know, trust me, they know.

Sophie is growing up so fast and outgrowing most of her newborn clothes already. Some of the clothes she could only wear it once… haha! But when I see her being a happy and healthy baby, nothing else matters. Sophie has been wearing Merries diapers since the day she was born! Kor kor Jacob too! Not too sure if you’ve read my previous blog post, Merries is my number favourite diaper brand. No leaks and rashes, super absorbency with breathable surface. What else can you ask for?

Sophiebaby’s face after diaper change. Happy bum, happy mom, happy life!

In my previous post I shared about some of the KAO household products and today I really want to share with you what I discovered with the power of Magiclean.

Bathroom is where I spend most time in early mornings. I take time on skin care, showering and getting myself ready for the day. So happened the other day I wasn’t in a hurry. I was clearing out some empty bottles and look what I found!

DSC05099

*screams* Mold!!! I do bottles clearing monthly but I barely noticed the stains are getting so bad! And what I usually do is just spray some water to ‘clean it’. But I guess didn’t help! If the Magiclean kitchen range takes little effort to get rid of oily surface, the bath care range should do the same!

So what I did was spraying some foam on the dirts and left it there for 4 – 5 minutes. And it looks like this! Bubbles doing the job.

And voila! Just use a cloth to clean it then rinse with water. The key thing is that it doesn’t require scrubbing! You know how it can get tricky when you need to scrub back and forth just to get rid of it. Now, where are all the dirty corners? I’m coming for you!!! 🙁

Hello bestfriend!

Also, do you girls suffer from hairloss? I think I’m getting more botak nowadays, worse during and after pregnancy. Vincent sometimes screams in bathroom because of the hair on the floor haha. But now he doesn’t have to see it anymore! Firstly I will have to thank my salon for pampering me with good scalp treatment and I’ll share more on my Instagram this week! According to my stylist, hairloss is normal especially for girls with long hair. As well as mommies like myself after giving birth. (Nutrients lost and so on) In order to keep my bathroom clean I have this secret weapon hidden in my bathroom haha.

I call it Magiclean helper! Previously I used it with wet sheets on floor so that Jacob and Sophie can crawl or play on the floor. And it can be used with dry sheets?! Even better! Captures and holds hair and dust! (With 1 wipe really!)

Look at it.

The amount of hair in just 1 morning zzz. Did I mention also, this helper goes into every difficult corner easily? I guess you’ll just have to try it yourself.

Jacob and Sophie spend most of their time in our room. With the construction next door I try to keep my windows sealed but I have a habit since young to open all the windows to let in fresh air every morning. That leaves me no choice but to clean my room as much as I can.

Dust near computer, picture frames, bedframe, windows, aircond, TV station… (the list goes on) – My ultimate enemy.

If I were to clean it all, it will take up whole day just going back and forth to change detergent and washing the cloth. *old school style* To save your energy and time, you may consider this handy duster!

It is extendable for you to reach out high or low, hard-to-reach places! Let me show you an example.

One wipe along the frame and voila!

Dirt and dust caught!!!

Why so dirty! 🙁 Then I proceed to my computer and TV stations, decorative displays and window! Took me less than half an hour!

To be honest, I’m still impressed with KAO products. From Merries to Magiclean and Attack (which I’ve shared in previous post!). It really made my life so much easier on keeping my house squeky clean. Not only house chores have become manageable and time saving, Jacob has learned some tips too! There was once he spilled his drinks on the floor, he said ‘Mama, faster take the Magic!’ (Means Magiclean wiper) and it surprised me! I only told him once!

For those of you who are interested to try out the products, please do so! Right now, KAO is holding a home makeover contest called <Parenthood Home Makeover>. When you buy RM38 worth of Magiclean/Attack products, together with minimum 1 pack Merries, you might win the contest and go home with KAO products worth up to RM30,000! Hurry up! Contest ends July 31st! More details please visit the website: http://www.kao.com/my/my-modern-parenthood/contest.html
