For me on the first day of CNY I dressed Jacob in his tradition New Year outfit called Sam Fu. I made sure he greeted his grandparents with 贺年语 for example, live a long life, stay healthy and be happy. He looks great doesn’t he? J My little angel.

As you all know I’m pregnant so I couldn’t take a trip overseas L but after thinking about it I decided why not spend CNY watching a movie instead of staying at home? My husband and I love to watch movies together especially an action-packed one. He happily booked the tickets a week early before the premier because he was very excited to watch The Monkey King 2. He is a big fan of The Monkey King and we both loved watching the drama series The Journey to the West. What I love most about it is how the Monkey King can change into 72 different characters or animals and how cheeky yet innovative he is.

Another reason why I want to watch this movie was because of Aaron Kwok, he is my childhood superstar. His acting always surprises me because he didn’t look like himself in the movie but was able to bring out the character of the Monkey King. The make-up and costume was awesome! Plus Gong Li played her role very well too as the White Bone Demon. I’m still in shock at how well the production team and cast were able to pull of all the stunts.

Gong Hei Fatt Choy to everybody!
