Malaysia’s Resume – The New Platform to Express Our Love

Today, as I was spending some time with my lovely son Jacob, it suddenly dawn on me that being a parent is the greatest yet toughest role in this world. Watching how my son grows up quickly is truly a blessing and each special moment is the happiest day of my life, like how he started walking, his first word, and when he called me mummy. For my husband and I, Jacob is our world and we want the best for him and I believe that it applies to all parents out there. As I look at him, I start to think back on how my parents were and how they loved me so.

Many times I find it hard to openly express my love for them and I think it’s a common situation for most Asians due to our upbringing. Therefore, it came as a pleasant surprise to me as I discovered a new platform to express our love publicly without feeling shy or embarrassed at all. The website is called Malaysia’s Resume. Curious about what this website is all about, I decided to give it a try.

Malaysia’s Resume actually allows me to post an inspiration story about my parents and guess what? I did! It is a short story about how they inspired me since I was a young girl. Memories of my childhood flood through my mind as I wrote it, knowing the sacrifices they made for me and how they never failed to provide the best for me. It’s really simple and easy to just send a story and thank your parents for everything they have done for you. Check it out at www.malaysiaresume.com and submit yours. Also, you can even get creative by making the story with a picture, audio recording, or video. As the Oscar Wilde said ‘To give and not expect return, that is what lies at the heart of love.’
