As the saying goes, a picture paints a thousand words! Those of you who know me well or have been following my social media pages would have known by now that I love taking and sharing photographs especially the ones that capture my fast growing son!
My son Jacob is growing up so fast that I always wish I could freeze time and watch him grow up all over again. However knowing how impossible it is to go back in time, I therefore have ‘super high regard’ in photographs (and videos sometimes) because they are the only things on earth that could keep all my memories in good storage and order! 😀
With a blink of an eye, Jacob is turning two in a few days time. Last year this time, I arranged a photo shoot for Jacob prior to his first birthday and looking back at his pictures now, I am so very glad that I actually did it because I could see it clearly how much my son has grown over the period of merely one year! To keep the tradition alive, I have again done the same for him this year by arranging another birthday shoot for my not-so-baby-anymore son!
To all mothers out there, if you have a young kid who is not camera shy, do try to get him or her a birthday photo shoot and I can assure you that you’d have no regrets doing it! Your kids would definitely be very thankful to see all their growing up pictures especially when they get older one day. This simply applies to me because once I did wish that my mom had taken more photos of me when I was still a baby! At least I could gather more proof to see how I actually lost my baby fat right haha!
Anyway here are some of my favourite shots from the recent photo shoot and I hope you’d love them as much as I do! I really love how the photographer has skillfully captured all the candid moment of my son and I am also very glad that Jacob was quite co-operative in posing on that day despite being very tired and got a little cranky afterwards. But all in all being a two-year-old kid, I must say he took instructions very well and I am a super proud mummy! 😀 Do feel free to drop me your comments or feedback after viewing the photos below! 🙂 Happy viewing and thank you for reading my blog 🙂
