1600 Pandas World Tour

The long awaited 1600 pandas have finally invaded Publika!!! Knowing that this would be the last stop in Malaysia before the pandas leave for the next world tour, I decided to bring my son, Jacob to pay a visit to these adorable pandas.

Upon arrival at the grand exhibition, Jacob was utterly thrilled to be greeted by a troop of pandas and frankly I was equally if not more excited than a two-year-old kid! I believe most visitors who have met these ‘little creatures’ could just die from cuteness overload! What’s more when the public could actually get up close, cuddle and take photographs with the pandas instead of just observing or admiring them from far.

Each of these pandas has it’s very own unique expression and they were created in various poses, emotions and sizes using recycled paper by this acclaimed French sculptor artist and designer by the name of Paulo Grangeon. The 1600 pandas (no more and no less) are actually on a journey around the world to promote the message of panda conservation and sustainable development and they are actually a symbolic representation of the amount of pandas left in the wild. I am very glad that Malaysia is the third country in Asia where the pandas are visiting and am even happier to be able to join in a good cause in support of this panda campaign with Jacob.space
